Yes. Email sent from your smartphone is seamlessly encrypted by Paubox. For example, if your email is hosted by Office 365 or Microsoft Exchange, you would connect to email from your smartphone via Microsoft ActiveSync. ActiveSync enforces encryption between your smartphone and your email server.
In other words, email that travels from your smartphone to Office 365 or Exchange is encrypted by default. At that point, the email then connects to Paubox Encrypted Email via a 256-bit AES encrypted connection. Paubox then ensures the remaining transit of your email is fully encrypted.
Google Apps uses Google Sync for secure connections from smartphones to Google’s Email platform. Google Sync is based on Microsoft’s ActiveSync.
