      DLP: "Sender quarantine notification" feature

      What are DLP: "Sender quarantine notifications"?

      The DLP Sender quarantine notification feature allows DLP Administrators and assigned standard users to inform users when their email or attachment is flagged for quarantine. 

       

      How DLP: "Sender quarantine notification" works

      Toggling the Alert sender when outbound messages is quarantined to ON will send a plain text notification about their infraction.

      Toggling ON the Use custom sender notification message allows the DLP & Archive Administrator to send a personalized message to the offender.

       

      How to set up DLP: "Sender quarantine notifications"

      1. Under Email DLP click Settings
      2. Click Alert Messages
      3. Under Sender Quarantine Notification toggle ON the Alert sender when outbound messages is quarantined option.  This will send a plain text notification about their infraction.
      4. If you wish to customer the message the sender receives, toggle ON the Use custom sender notification message. 
      5. Click Edit Message to customize the message.  
      6. This message is also in plain text and can be previewed prior to sending.
