Import and Export Contacts to Paubox (Webmail)

Importing contact list into Paubox's webmail interface

When you are using Paubox's webmail interface, you can import in your contact lists from your current email host. To do this you must export your contact list from your current host first then import them into your Paubox hosted email account.

1. Exporting contacts from current email host

Please follow the instructions below to export your contact lists from various email hosts. If you do not see your email host below, please contact your email host and ask them for instructions.

Export you contact list in either Vcard or CSV format, most email providers have both options available during export.

2. Import contact list into Paubox webmail interface

Once you saved your contact list (either vcard or csv format) on your computer, you are now ready to import them into your Paubox hosted email account.

1. Sign into your Paubox email account
2. Click on Address Book
3. Click Import
4. Click to Choose File
5. You can choose where you want your contacts are added to in add contacts to, how these contacts are assigned in import group assignments, and whether you want these contacts to replace your entire address book or not.
6. Click Import and you are good to go.

How to export your contacts from Paubox

1. Sign into your Paubox email account
2. Click on Address Book
3. Click Export
4. Click the drop down arrow and choose either Export All or Export Selected. If you are choosing to export a selected a number of contacts, you must select the contacts first before exporting it.
5. Save the contacts on your computer as a file and you are good to go.
