Wordpress forms - sending email alerts through Paubox

If you have a Wordpress based website and have forms that send email alerts when data is submitted, you can have those alerts send via Paubox.

How to do it: 

1. Download a SMTP plugin for Wordpress
2. Configure the plugin to route mail via your Gmail or Paubox Hosted Mail account

Note: SMTP connections to outside mail hosts must be allowed in order to send alerts via Paubox (some website hosts do not allow).

2. Postman SMTP
3. WP Mail SMTP

Configuring your SMTP Plugin for G Suite:

Please use the following information to configure the SMTP plugin with your G Suite account.

• Email Address: Your G Suite Email Address
• Outgoing Mail Server Hostname: smtp.gmail.com
• Outgoing Mail Server Port: 587
• Security: STARTTLS
• Username: Your G Suite Email Address
• Password: Your G Suite Email Password

Configuring your SMTP Plugin for Microsoft 365:

Please use the following information to configure the SMTP plugin with your Microsoft 365 account.

• Email Address: Your Microsoft Email Address
• Outgoing Mail Server Hostname:smtp.office365.com
• Outgoing Mail Server Port: 587
• Security: STARTTLS
• Username: Your M365 Email Address
• Password: Your M365 Email Password

Configuring your SMTP Plugin for Paubox Hosted Mail account: 

Please use the following information to configure the SMTP plugin with your Paubox hosted email account.

• Email Address: Your Paubox Email Address
• Outgoing Mail Server Hostname: m.paubox.com
• Outgoing Mail Server Port: 587
• Security: STARTTLS
• Username: Your Paubox Email Address
• Password: Your Paubox Email Password
