If you are a Paubox hosted customer and setup your business email in the "Send mail as:" section of Gmail, then you need to remove the email filters from Gmail settings to prevent a gmail looping error.
What is a Gmail looping error?
The Gmail looping error occurs when you reply to an email sent from your Paubox hosted account and instead of the reply being sent to your Paubox account, it is sent back into your Gmail account. When you pull the email header for the email message, you will see something similar below.

You'll notice that the Delivered-To: and the From email addresses are exactly the same when the Delivered-To: email address should match the To: email address.
How to fix this error?
To prevent this error you will need to remove the email filters that contains your domain name that is hosted with Paubox. Removing the filters is easy and straightforward, just follow the instructions below.
- Login into your Gmail account and go to settings
- Then select the Filters and Blocked Addresses tab.
- Find all filters containing "Do this:Forward to {@yourbusinessdomainname.com}" , there may be more "conditions" after the "Do this:" statement but they are of no importance in this case. Make sure to select all the all the filters that contain your business domain name.
- Delete all the selected filters with the "Do this:Forward to {@yourbusinessdomainname.com}"
- When you are 100% sure you have Deleted all filters containing the "Do this:Forward to {@yourbusinessdomainname.com}" filter go to "Forwarding and POP/IMAP" tab and make sure "disable forwarding" is checked.
- If needed you should remove the email forwarding of all your business related emails to your Gmail account to prevent a HIPAA violation. Since Gmail is not a HIPAA compliant solution.
