In this section, we will cover adding contacts
Add Contacts
1) Navigate to Paubox Marketing > Contacts
There are two ways to add new Paubox Marketing contacts: adding them one at a time via the dashboard (see section 1A below) or importing them via a .xlsx file template (see section 1B below).
1A) To add contacts one at a time via the dashboard, click the empty cell in the Email column and enter a valid email address there. Next, click the cell in the First Name column and enter the contact's first name there. Finally, click the cell in the Last Name column and enter the contact's last name there. Click the + button to the left of the row you're adding to save the new contact's information. Repeat this process for each new contact you would like to add to Paubox Marketing.
1B) To add contacts via the .xlsx file template, click the xlsx template button at the top right of the page. An Excel file will download to your computer (most likely to the Downloads folder).
Open the downloaded Excel file template on your computer. The filename will be "Paubox-Audience-Excel-Template.xlsx".
2) Enter the Email address, First Name, and Last Name for each contact you want to import into Paubox Marketing on a separate row under the appropriate column in the Excel file template.
3) Save your contacts spreadsheet as a .csv file. (.csv is more reliable than .xlsx)
4) In the Paubox dashboard (under Paubox Marketing > Contacts), click the Import button (it's at the top right part of the page, below the ".xlsx template" button). An overlay window will appear on the screen. Click the Upload button in the overlay window and select the saved Excel file template (the filename will be "Paubox-Audience-Excel-Template.csv" (unless you renamed that file) with the list of contacts you want to import. There will be a notification on the screen to let you know the import is being processed. Check back in a few minutes. If the import was successful, the newly imported contacts will appear in your dashboard under Paubox Marketing > Contacts.
NOTE: you can organize your contacts into Subscription Lists if you would like to. The default Subscription List is "All Contacts".
