Paubox Email API (REST API)
Built for developers who are looking to bulk send automated transactional email (for example, password resets or appointment reminders).
Most flexible of our API/SMTP solutions; requires the most dev expertise.
Requirements:
- Platform that can send mail and requests (i.e. Postman)
- Domain verification via TXT record
- Developer or developer skills to write code to send email

SMTP Server Solution (App/Program Sending via Paubox Servers)
Designed for organizations who want to send encrypted email from an application (the application doesn’t need to have the ability to send email - it needs to authenticate with Paubox and initiate messages from Paubox servers).
Requirements:
- Application that can authenticate with Paubox over SMTP
- STARTTLS enabled on your application (TLS v1.2 or higher)
- Developer or developer skills to write code to send email
We’ll provide:
- Username and password for authentication
- Paubox host and port info
- Code samples
- Dashboard to monitor mail traffic
SMTP Relay Service (On-Premise Mail Server Relaying Mail via Paubox Servers)
Designed for organizations who have an on premise email server solution with a static IP address. This setup allows customers to relay email traffic to Paubox over an encrypted connection with Paubox securing all messages to the end recipients.
Most standard of our API/SMTP solutions; easiest to use.
Requirements:
- On-premise server that can relay email to Paubox over SMTP
- STARTTLS enabled on your on-premise mail server (TLS v1.2 or higher)
