Why you might use the Paubox Email API:
- Status updates for tests or processes: The Paubox Email API can be programmed, with just a bit of code, to let patients and customers know that their test is being processed or that the results of it are available. Say for example that a patient has been tested for an illness in office. You can trigger an email to go out to the patient on check-out that their test is currently being sent to the lab. This builds trust, provides valuable information to the patient and gives a sense of transparency to the process.
- Scheduling and sending emails via a dashboard/website/app: If you’re already sending out emails via actions taken (button clicks, signups etc) in your app, dashboard or website, the Paubox Email API can be easily integrated into this. Our API is flexible. It allows you to customize everything about an email from its subject line to attachments. This means you can add information from a field (say email) on your signup page to an API request and send out the right email to the right person.
- Dynamic and reusable templates: You don’t have to reinvent the wheel with every email. Using dynamic templates (more info here) you can upload Handlebars files that define what your email should look like and recall them when making requests to the Paubox Email API. You can even add in custom parameters that allow you to customize the text of the email and ensure patients/customers receive a personalized response, driving engagement and building trust.
- Send out post-visit care documents and other important files: Using the Paubox Email API you can send out attachments to patients/customers via email. This can be anything from a PDF to a TXT file. It’s very easy to set up and useful for following up with patients after an appointment to provide them with larger documents. This frees up space in your actual email body, makes the message look more professional and allows you to easily manage/customize the documents outside of the email.
