What are DLP: "Sender quarantine notifications"?
The DLP Sender quarantine notification feature allows DLP Administrators and assigned standard users to inform users when their email or attachment is flagged for quarantine.
How DLP: "Sender quarantine notification" works
Toggling the Alert sender when outbound messages is quarantined to ON will send a plain text notification about their infraction.
Toggling ON the Use custom sender notification message allows the DLP & Archive Administrator to send a personalized message to the offender.
How to set up DLP: "Sender quarantine notifications"
- Under Email DLP click Settings
- Click Alert Messages
- Under Sender Quarantine Notification toggle ON the Alert sender when outbound messages is quarantined option. This will send a plain text notification about their infraction.
- If you wish to customer the message the sender receives, toggle ON the Use custom sender notification message.
- Click Edit Message to customize the message.
- This message is also in plain text and can be previewed prior to sending.
