Paubox Email API: Dashboard highlights

The Paubox dashboard is where you'll manage your Paubox Email API settings, view your mail log, and more. Here are a few areas of the dashboard you'll want to be acquainted with.

Account settings

In the Account settings section of the dashboard, you'll be able to access account-level settings for your Paubox account. To get there, log in to the dashboard. At the bottom of the left-hand navigation, click on your profile and click on Account settings.

In Account settings, you can:

  • View contact information for our support team
  • Get access to the Paubox service status page
  • Update DKIM settings 

Email API Settings

In the Email API Settings section, you'll be able manage sending domains and API keys. To get there, click on Paubox Email API in the left-navigation, then click on Settings in the top navigation.

In the Settings section, you can:

  • Add and verify a new domain 
  • Generate API keys

Mail Log

Once you've started sending transactional emails, you'll be able to view your sent emails in the Mail Log. To get there, click on Paubox Email API in the left-navigation, then click on Mail log in the top navigation.

In the Mail Log, you can:

  • View all sent transactional emails
  • Filter by API key, date range, sender, recipient or subject line
  • Export a CSV file of the mail log

The mail log retains mail sent within the last 45 days. 

Webhooks

With Paubox Email API, you can set up webhooks to send and/or receive data between Paubox and your application(s). Webhooks allow you to receive instant updates whenever a subscribed event is triggered.

Here are some ways you can utilize webhooks:

  • Receive real-time status updates for custom analytics
  • Set up custom alerts
  • Automate workflows

To set up webhooks, click on the Webhooks page within the Paubox Email API section. Use these instructions to set up a webhook.
