Paubox Webmail: How do I set a recovery email address?

Make sure to set a recovery email address in your Paubox email account so you'll never be locked out! 

(Note: this is specifically for email accounts hosted at Paubox as part of our Webmail solution.)

A recovery email address is a second or alternate email address that you have (for example, your personal Gmail or Yahoo email address). In the event that you cannot remember the password to your Paubox email account, you'll be able to click "Reset Password" on the login page and receive a link at your recovery email address to reset it. 

Set a recovery email address: 

1. Login to your Paubox account.
2. Click on Settings.
3. Click on Account Recovery.
4. Enter an Alternate Email Address.
5. Click Save.
6. Check your alternate email account for a verification email and Confirm Email.
