Paubox Webmail: IMAP and POP3 settings

Paubox Webmail allows you to access and sync your hosted email account across various desktop and mobile mail clients. Using the correct server settings ensures that your encrypted communications remain secure and consistent across all your devices.

Choose your protocol

Before configuring your mail client, determine which protocol best fits your workflow.

  • IMAP (Recommended): Syncs your email globally across all devices; actions like deleting or moving a message are reflected everywhere

  • POP3: Downloads emails to a single device for local storage; this is generally used if you prefer not to keep mail stored on the server
